The plastic wear strips on most accessory skid plates for ATV’s is cosmetic or non existent at best. The plastic strip only suppress a little noise if the chain get loose. Without some type of guide toward the rear sprocket your chances of a chain coming off are greatly increased. The latest generation of stock ATV arms does not allow you to mount a rear chain guide. The new TM DESIGNWORKS Rear chain guide pad and protector to the rescue. Our new guide uses our exclusive POWERLIPtm system to lift, guide, and increase the speed and accuracy of the chain onto the rear sprocket. Universally mounted so you can install this part anywhere from the center on back. Simply measure from the top of the pan to the bottom of the chain and pick one of the three sizes below which are the closest fit. Make sure you pick the size that will touch or slightly lift the chain up. 1/8th inch adjustment washers are also included in the sizes listed below. Be sure and measure with and without the plastic strip before choose the correct size.
